The app features exclusive animated and interactive panels by Zerocalcare, combining the ironic language of comics with audiovisual content, including video reports and in-depth interviews with experts.

Developed by Alterawide for ActionAid, Demopatia is a journey through space and time in search of the roots of democracy, from its origins to the present day, passing through crucial historical phases that demonstrate how it is not a perfectly completed and achieved good, but an objective to be conquered every time. It is a precious and fragile good, constantly threatened and at risk. A conquest and a right of all, which we can never take for granted.
